Hi, I’m Dean! I'm the guy who kept getting street-sweeping tickets.

I live in Brooklyn. I love my car. And I am apparently incapable of remembering which side of the street the sweeper hits on a Tuesday. Sixty-five dollars a pop, again and again, because a little orange sign kept outsmarting me.

So I built this. Not for a pitch deck, not for investors, just for me, because I got tired of donating to the city one ticket at a time. You text a photo of your parking sign, and this thing texts you before every sweep so you actually move in time. Then I figured I'm probably not the only one losing this fight, so I cleaned it up and shared it with the world.

Right now we only cover the New York City metro area, because that's where I'm out here getting beaten by parking signs. If this takes off, I'd love to bring it to other cities that treat street cleaning like a competitive sport.

That's the whole story. A Brooklyn guy who just wanted something to remind him to move his damn car.
