Information We Collect
- Mobile phone number, so we can send your reminders.
- Parking sign photos and the details we read from them: the photo you text us, and the street-sweeping or parking rules our system reads from it (times, days, location).
- Subscription and payment information, handled by our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers.
- Basic usage data: message delivery status and timestamps needed to run the service.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information only to operate the service: reading your parking sign, scheduling your reminders, sending the texts, managing your subscription, and providing support.
Text Messaging and Consent
By opting in, you agree to receive recurring automated text reminders from Please Move Your Car at the number you provide. Message frequency varies based on your parking schedule. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe, or HELP for help.
We will not share, sell, or rent your mobile phone number or your text-messaging opt-in information to any third party or affiliate for their own marketing purposes.
How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run Please Move Your Car, and only as needed to deliver the service you signed up for. These include our SMS provider (to send and receive texts), our image-reading provider (to read your parking sign), our database and hosting provider (to store your reminders), and our payment processor (to handle billing). We may also disclose information if required by law.
Data Retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. You can request deletion by emailing hi@pleasemoveyourcar.com. Texting STOP unsubscribes you from messages.
Your Choices
Reply STOP to any message to stop all texts. Email hi@pleasemoveyourcar.com to access or delete your information.
Children
Please Move Your Car is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
